PrusaLink Compatibility
Connect Prusa printers running PrusaLink, not Prusa Connect
Printer Tools connects to the local PrusaLink service built into current Prusa printers or provided by a dedicated Raspberry Pi on compatible older models. PrusaLink is distinct from Prusa Connect, Prusa's separate cloud service, and the available telemetry and actions depend on the API exposed by the installed firmware.

What's the difference between PrusaLink and Prusa Connect?
PrusaLink is a local service running on the printer or a dedicated Raspberry Pi; Prusa Connect is Prusa's separate cloud service. Printer Tools connects through PrusaLink, so a Prusa Connect account is not required for local use.
Does this work with the MK3S or MK3S+?
Yes, when the printer has a compatible Raspberry Pi PrusaLink installation. The MK3, MK3S, MK3S+, MK2.5 and MK2.5S do not provide the same built-in setup as current models, so their available endpoints can differ.
Which credential should I enter?
Use the PrusaLink API key on current built-in installations. If your PrusaLink setup uses HTTP authentication, enter its HTTP username and password instead. Printer Tools tries the API key first and then HTTP authentication, with maker as the initial username.
Can I see a camera feed?
The PrusaLink connection shows the current-job model thumbnail when one is available, not a generic live webcam feed. A separately configured external camera can still be added to Printer Tools.
Is job control available for every action?
Job control availability depends on your printer model and firmware version; some actions exposed on newer firmware aren't available on older versions.
