PrusaLink Compatibility
Connect Prusa printers running PrusaLink, not Prusa Connect
Printer Tools connects to Prusa printers through PrusaLink, the local, on-printer service built into recent Prusa firmware. PrusaLink is distinct from Prusa Connect, Prusa's separate cloud service, and available actions can depend on your printer model and firmware version.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between PrusaLink and Prusa Connect?
PrusaLink is a local, on-printer service built into recent Prusa firmware; Prusa Connect is Prusa's separate cloud service. Printer Tools connects through PrusaLink only, so Prusa Connect-specific cloud features aren't part of this integration.
Does this work with the MK3S or MK3S+?
No. PrusaLink support in Printer Tools covers the MK4, MK4S, MK3.5, MK3.9, XL and CORE One; older MK3S/MK3S+ printers don't run the PrusaLink firmware this integration relies on.
Do I need a login to connect?
Yes, PrusaLink uses Basic/Digest authentication set from the printer's own local web interface, not a Prusa account.
Can I see a camera feed?
Only where the printer and firmware expose a webcam endpoint; camera support through PrusaLink isn't universal across every Prusa model.
Is job control available for every action?
Job control availability depends on your printer model and firmware version; some actions exposed on newer firmware aren't available on older versions.
