OctoEverywhere Compatibility
Add secure remote access to printers already connected in Printer Tools
OctoEverywhere isn't a printer protocol on its own, it's a remote-access service that layers secure, portal-based access on top of a printer you've already connected in Printer Tools. Setup happens through OctoEverywhere's own web portal and requires an OctoEverywhere Supporter account.

Known limitations
- !Requires an OctoEverywhere Supporter account and a printer already connected in Printer Tools.
- !Available printer types depend on OctoEverywhere's own supported integrations.
- !Feature availability mirrors the underlying printer connection; OctoEverywhere doesn't add new printer-specific features.
- !A VPN back to your home network works too, without an OctoEverywhere account, every underlying printer connection in Printer Tools is local-only.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an OctoEverywhere account to use this?
Yes, remote access through OctoEverywhere requires an OctoEverywhere Supporter account, set up through its own web portal.
Which printers can I add through OctoEverywhere?
Any Bambu Lab, Klipper/Moonraker, OctoPrint or PrusaLink printer already connected in Printer Tools can be extended with OctoEverywhere.
Is there a free alternative to OctoEverywhere?
Yes. Since every printer connection in Printer Tools is local-only, a VPN back to your home network gives you the same remote access without an OctoEverywhere account.
Does OctoEverywhere add new features on top of my printer?
No, it relays the same monitoring, camera and job control data your existing connection already provides; it doesn't add printer-specific features like filament tracking.
Is my data still private with OctoEverywhere?
OctoEverywhere provides its own secure relay for remote access; you can review its own privacy and security details on its website before enabling it.
