Printer Tools supports the original firmware and paxx12 firmware:

• Original firmware: monitoring, four-toolhead and filament management, controls, files, history, timelapses, Bed Mesh and access to the built-in camera. Printer Tools is the only app besides the official Snapmaker app that supports the camera without paxx12
• paxx12 firmware: all original-firmware features, plus WebRTC streaming with the best performance and highest FPS, HTTP, RTSP and remote viewing and control of the printer screen over HTTP
• Automatic setup: enable one toggle when adding or editing the printer and all compatible cameras are created automatically

The original firmware already supports the main Snapmaker U1 features in Printer Tools. paxx12 adds advanced system access and extra customization:

• Web and cameras: web configuration, Fluidd or Mainsail, hardware-accelerated WebRTC for internal and USB cameras, HTTP and RTSP streams, remote screen control and timelapses. Printer Tools can configure the compatible cameras automatically
• Klipper: custom includes and print hooks, experimental TMC and Adaptive Mesh tweaks, AFC-Lite, Panda Breath and temporary faulty-toolhead bypass
• Filaments: OpenSpool RFID tags and alternative detection for Bambu, Creality, Anycubic and other tags
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Home Assistant, DataDog and Apprise notifications for more than 90 services
• Remote access: SSH, Tailscale VPN and cloud-based access options

> Important: paxx12 is an independent project not affiliated with Snapmaker. Damage attributable to custom firmware is not covered by the warranty, so install it only if you understand the risks

• Direct connection: use Prusa Link over your local network or VPN
• Complete monitoring: printer status, print progress, model preview, speed, Z height, flow and all available Prusa Link data
• OctoEverywhere: Printer Tools is the only app that provides the same Prusa Link functionality through OctoEverywhere

Purchases are restored automatically. If not, to restore purchases:

1. Open Printer Tools
2. Go to Settings
3. Shop
4. Tap Restore Purchases
